IAFF Local #2362 represents the 100 men and women employed as professional Firefighters by the City of Las Cruces. Our local was originally established in 1992.

The Fire Department covers 20 square miles and provides Fire Suppression, Technical Rescue, Hazardous Materials Response and EMS services to a resident population of approximately 85,000 people. The department operates 6 engine companies, 2 truck companies, and a battalion chief command unit.

Crews from the department's six stations responded to over 13,000 calls for service last year.
